A. picture in multimedia
         the definition of the image is a motionless or static object. Graphic is a submission of images or immersive images / visuals. This is an important element in giving emphasis in the presentation of intentions. The use of the graph itself can be said to deliver something in a better form, with presentation of bvisual.

1. Image has some advantages, among others:
 - easier in identifying objects
 - easier to clarify objects.
 - able to show the spatial connection of an object.
 -help to explain abstract concepts to concrete.

B bitmap images and ve.ktor in multimedia
         graphic images that are processed using a computer are usually divided into two types, namely bitmap and vector.
       Bitmap images in multimedia as the name implies, bitmap images is a collection of bits that make up a picture. Images that are scanned are bitmap images. The image has the content of point units (pixels) that have their respective colors called bit, which is the smallest unit of information on the computer.
      The bitmap image is a reconstruction of the original image. The bitmap image is an image stored as a series of pixels (dots) that meet the point field of the computer screen.

   -photoshop in multimedia  
   -coreldraw in multimedia.

2. kinds of bitmap images 
   a).line art
          is a picture that consists of two colors, usually black and white.This image is made bitmap because the computer uses only one bit.
  b).grayscale
         is an image that consists of various shades of gray in black and white produce.
  c).multitones
            consists of two or more colors. The commonly used multitones are duotones, which usually consist of a pantone color.
   d).full colour images
           is the image that has a color that looks realistic. Color information is plotted using color stereotypes like RGP, CMYK, or lab. 

3.aplikasi data bitmap 
      there is ratusan aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat atau memodefikasi file gambar dengan data bitmap.dalam dunia percetakan ,adobe photoshop adalah aplikasi yang mendominasi pasar.tapi bukan berarti aplikasi alternatif yang lebih murah seperti corel-photo-paint dapat dianggap remeh.
